Building materials need to maintain equilibrium moisture content before during and after construction. The ARID-Dry desiccant dehumidifier can provide low vapor pressures to return materials to normal equilibrium moisture content. Many materials such as concrete can shorten the “Cure Time” by providing low vapor pressure air to increase or maintain the evaporation of water in the material. Dry Wall mud and painting systems using water-based components can also be beneficial using the ARID Dry equipment.
When building materials come in contact with water due to piping failures, flooding or storms, losses can be contained by quickly drying out the structure using an Accelerated Drying System®. ARID-Dry Desiccant dehumidifiers are used to quickly provide a low-vapor pressure air stream to facilitate rapid evaporation to restore the structure to pre-loss moisture levels. The low vapor pressure acts as a sponge to pull moisture from building materials. ARID-Dry Desiccant dehumidifiers are the most effective system on the market, outperforming refrigeration and convection-style heat-drying methods.
